Radio From Beyond worldmusic from China 2006:
Ferry Dutch presenting 2 hours of World- & Roots music from the ‘Chinese Continent’ live,
First hour introduction to my Dutch Listeners to re-introduce the feeling and radio-moodboard, concept of popular world-music from Chinese, HongKong and Taiwan Roots.
Second hour presented in the English language: a beautiful selection of favorite Chinese popular music modern style, based on consults by my musical friends in Beijing and Qingdao
And addressed to these friends in China personally and with gratitude for their true companionship for a Stranger from the West you all came to know good-better-best in growing mutual respect and cultural understanding.


First hour (21-22 o’ clock SAT. 8 July 2006): presented by Ferry Dutch with pop poetry in the beautiful Dutch language draws back on the few references to Chinese Music from western perspectives: the meditative flute-music by the Guo Brothers of China and the post-modern style ASIAN LOUNGE as produced in the Netherlands by PUTUMAYO records, independent record company with the most creative and crafty selection of global music in the whole universe at date. Introduced to Dutch listeners of Radio Van Verre emphasis is placed on Chinese contemporary musicians like DAVID TAO and PA WEI BO (‘Will’) from Taiwan, 22-year young singer SANDY LAM and the 12 Girls Band on traditional instruments of China.
Second hour centers around favorite music as indicated by my beloved friends in Qingdao and the Capital city of Beijing, as we discussed and commented these musical samples by listening together to the new artists and styles that may influence popular music cultures in the near future years to come.

David Tao again for my teaching colleagues at Ocean University of China: Golda Keng and Joella Allott in Qingdao, KELLY CHEN Chinese singer diverted to Canada as Chicha Fang’s favorite, daughter to the Chinese Family that runs a Chinese Restaurant here in Noordwolde and not-to-be-forgotten the Chinese “DOE MAAR” or Beatles from Hong-Kong, the famous rockband of all times in China BEYOND, of which the leadsinger still is regrettably missed by dying on stage so many years ago now, that it seems to have happened on a complete other planet. But it was ours, which is still to become more ‘one’ and ‘whole’ and ‘holistic’ accroos the universe and its cultural differences, esp. between eastern and western ways of thinking and living, behaving and loving during the years and stages to come.
